Started my Art Journey in 2022 at the age of 81. The reasons for starting to draw at such a late age were two fold;

One .. I was considering retiring from my home building career and felt I needed something to fill the void both time wise and mentally.

Two .. I suffered a serious injury several years ago
which left me with few strenuous activity options such as Golf, etc.

My initial path was to take some art courses from a highly respected Art Museum and School. Eventho I was older than most of the people in the in the class by 50 years I found it both stimulating and enjoyable. So here we are a year later and I find myself painting almost every day. Semi-retired. Going to build one house this year to help keep busy
